A pleasant and comfortable stay
The Homestead was established in 2016 and began operating in July 2016. The owners, Riaan and Mari van Rooyen, first opened The Homestead Cottage and the cottage quickly became a great success. They later changed the name to The Homestead when five more units were introduced in November 2020. Due to adding demand, two more units were added in 2024.
“The Homestead” is named after the owner’s great grandmother’s (Mrs Louisa van Rooyen) farmhouse in the beautiful town of Lady Grey in the Eastern Cape.
The Homestead prides itself on delivering exceptional service at all times and to make our guests stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Check Out
Check-out is before 10:00 on the morning of departure.
Booking
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
